About This Role
Jet Linx Aviation is hiring a full-time Pilot in Command (Captain) for a Gulfstream G200 super-midsize jet based in Dallas, Texas. The position supports Part 91 and Part 135 operations, expects the pilot to live or be willing to relocate within a two-hour call-out time of the home base, and reports to the Base Chief Pilot. The PIC is responsible for preparing and ensuring safe, efficient company-aircraft operations under the Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures, with substantial total, PIC, multi-engine, turbine, instrument, and jet-experience minima. The role also covers operational communications, duty, flight and rest compliance, EFB and publication upkeep, current first-class medical status, proactive decision-making and Jet Linx values, together with travel, testing, work-schedule, licensing and physical requirements. Recent 142 training in type is preferred. The compensation package includes a $160,000-$245,000 starting annual base salary plus insurance, retirement match, paid time off and company-paid life and short-term disability coverage.
Requirements
- The candidate is expected to live or be willing to relocate within a two-hour call-out time of the home base. Minimum experience requirements are 3,500 hours total flight time
- 2,000 hours total PIC
- 250 hours of PIC time in type
- 1,000 hours multi-engine
- 500 hours multi-engine PIC
- 1,000 hours turbine time
- 1,000 hours total turbine PIC
- 300 hours total instrument
- 1,500 hours total jet
- and 500 hours total jet PIC. Initial or recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred. Other requirements include the ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license, proof of eligibility to work in the United States, a current passport, an ATP or the ability to obtain an ATP, a first-class medical and an FCC Restricted Radio License. Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug and alcohol testing when required
- safety-sensitive personnel will be tested for marijuana, cocaine, opiates, phencyclidine (PCP) and amphetamines. The role requires unrestricted ability to travel throughout the EU, Canada and the Caribbean, release and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot, and availability to work nights, weekends and holidays. A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required. Most work is performed in and around aircraft and aircraft terminals, and the position requires frequent movement of up to 50 pounds.
