About This Role
Jet Linx Aviation is seeking a full-time Pilot in Command for its Gulfstream G200 super-midsize jet operation in Austin, Texas, supporting Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations. The PIC reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot and is responsible for preparing and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures. The candidate must live, or be willing to relocate, within a two-hour call-out time of the aircraft.
Requirements
- Minimum requirements are 3,500 hours of total flight time, 2,000 hours of total PIC time, 250 hours of PIC time in type, 1,000 hours of multi-engine time, 500 hours of multi-engine PIC time, 1,000 hours of turbine time, 500 hours of total turbine PIC time, 300 hours of total instrument time, 1,500 hours of total jet time, and 500 hours of total jet PIC time. Initial or recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months is listed as preferred. The posting also requires the ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license
- proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
- a current passport
- an ATP or the ability to obtain an ATP
- a first-class medical certificate
- and an FCC Restricted Radio License. Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug/alcohol testing when required
- for safety-sensitive functions, the stated test covers marijuana, cocaine, opiates, phencyclidine (PCP), and amphetamines. Additional requirements are unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries

- and a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. The role is primarily performed in and around aircraft and aircraft terminals and requires moving up to 50 pounds frequently.
