About This Role
Jet Linx Aviation is seeking a full-time Pilot in Command for the Gulfstream G200 super-midsize jet, supporting Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations. The role is listed in Bedford, Massachusetts and described as Boston, MA; the pilot reports to the Base Chief Pilot and prepares for and ensures the safe, efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with the Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures. Candidates are expected to live, or be willing to relocate, within a 2-hour call-out time of their home base, and the position combines substantial total, PIC, type, multi-engine, turbine, instrument and jet-time thresholds with U.S. work authorization, travel, medical, training and schedule requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Pilot in Command reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot and prepares for and ensures the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with the Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures. The role manages duty, flight and rest times in line with company and CFR requirements
- maintains communication for standby-duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre- and post-flight reports
- maintains and manages electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications
- and keeps navigation charts, publications and company manuals current. Essential functions also include maintaining a current first-class medical certificate, applying strong proactive decision-making, and demonstrating Jet Linx's core values in all interactions.

The starting base annual salary ranges from $160,000 to $245,000the actual base salary depends on geographic location, aircraft size for crew positions, and the candidate's relevant education, training and experience. Requirements
- The minimum flight-time requirements are 3,500 hours of total flight time
- 2,000 hours of total PIC time
- 250 total PIC hours in type
- 1,000 hours of multi-engine time
- 500 hours of multi-engine PIC time
- 1,000 hours of turbine time
- 1,000 hours of total turbine PIC time
- 300 hours of total instrument time
- 1,500 hours of total jet time
- and 500 hours of total jet PIC time. Initial or recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred. Other requirements include the ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license
- proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- a current passport
- an ATP with the ability to obtain ATP
- a first-class medical
- and an FCC Restricted Radio License. Applicants must pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug/alcohol testing when required
- for safety-sensitive functions, pre-employment testing covers marijuana, cocaine, opiates, phencyclidine (PCP), and amphetamines. They need unrestricted ability to travel to all EU countries, Canada and Caribbean countries, release and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot, and work nights, weekends and holidays.
