About This Role
Executive Jet Management (a NetJets / Berkshire Hathaway company) is hiring a Pilot in Command for a Gulfstream 700 based at Opa Locka, FL (KOPF). The aircraft sits on a 2-plane, 10-pilot Part 91 account supported by two dedicated maintenance technicians and two cabin attendants, with an established schedule/rotation. The PIC carries final responsibility for operating the aircraft safely, compliantly and efficiently and for the service experience delivered to owners and passengers. Candidates must live within one hour of OPF or be willing to relocate; commuting is not permitted.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensures the Safe Operation of Flight: ensures crewing and trip assignments are compliant with company and regulatory requirements
- completes flight planning, performance and weight and balance tasks for each assignment
- uses Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to lead required briefings and mitigate operational risks
- complies with company Standard Operating Procedures and coordinates with company personnel
- acts as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator
- completes all aircraft pre-flight tasks including the maintenance status of the aircraft
- records all aircraft discrepancies in accordance with company SOPs
- ensures all aircraft ground servicing items (fueling, oil, oxygen) are monitored and accomplished
- completes passenger briefings in accordance with company policy and regulation
- delivers the highest level of customer service and meets any special needs of passengers
- uses Crew Resource Management and Threat and Error Management to communicate with crew and support personnel during normal, abnormal and emergency operations. Delivers an Exceptional Service Experience: provides quality service to owners and passengers, investigates and resolves service deviations, collaborates with fellow crew members and EJM internal partners, resolves conflict and challenges. Maintains Proficiency and Compliance: maintains regulatory and company-required training and recency of experience
- complies with the company SMS program and reports safety or non-compliance concerns through the appropriate channels.

Requirements
- Prior experience in corporate/business aviation required. FAA Type rating in G650, G500/600, or G700/G800. Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position. Minimum Time Requirements: Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours. Highly competitive candidates are already type rated in the G700 (G500/600 type will be considered), have extensive international flight experience, and meet EJM's flight time minimums. The successful candidate must live, or be willing to relocate, within one hour of OPF. Commuting is not permitted.
