About This Role
Executive Jet Management is seeking a typed Pilot in Command for a Gulfstream 550 based at Miami, Florida (KOPF). The PIC operates in a two-pilot Part 135 account supported by a Maintenance Technician and holds final responsibility for safe, compliant, efficient aircraft operation and exceptional service to owners and passengers. The role includes flight planning, performance and weight-and-balance work, operational briefings, security coordination, aircraft readiness, crew resource management, customer service, regulatory compliance, training, recency, and safety reporting.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Pilot in Command ensures crewing and trip assignments comply with company and regulatory requirements
- completes flight planning, performance, and weight-and-balance tasks
- leads required Threats, Plans and Considerations briefings
- follows company SOPs
- coordinates with company personnel
- and acts as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator. The PIC completes aircraft pre-flight and maintenance-status checks, records discrepancies, monitors fueling, oil, oxygen, and other ground servicing, and conducts passenger briefings. The role delivers high-quality service to owners and passengers, accommodates special passenger needs, investigates and resolves service deviations, collaborates with crew and internal partners, and handles conflicts appropriately. The PIC maintains required training and recency, complies with the company SMS program, and reports safety or non-compliance concerns through the proper channels.

Requirements
- Applicants should have 4–6 years of experience, with prior corporate or business aviation experience preferred.
- The posting requires an FAA type rating in the applicable fleet and the ability to perform all essential functions of the position.
- Minimum flight-time requirements are 3,500 hours total flight time, 1,500 hours Multi Engine Land (MEL), 2,000 hours as Pilot in Command, 500 hours PIC MEL, 300 instrument hours, and 500 jet hours.
- The position is for typed Gulfstream 550 candidates.
