About This Role
Executive Jet Management (EJM), a NetJets subsidiary and Berkshire Hathaway company, seeks a Pilot in Command for a Gulfstream 550 based in Fort Lauderdale (KFLL). Three-pilot operation supporting a long-tenured ownership group, flying both Part 91 and 135, averaging approximately 450-500 flight hours annually with meaningful international exposure throughout Europe.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Pilot in Command (PIC) is responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft while delivering an exceptional travel experience.
- Ensures the safe operation of flight (crewing/trip compliance, flight planning, performance and weight and balance, TPC briefings, SOP compliance, pre-flight tasks, passenger briefings, CRM/TEM).
- Delivers an exceptional service experience to owners and passengers.
- Maintains proficiency and compliance with regulatory and company-required training and SMS program.
Requirements
- Certifications and Licenses: FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP). Years of Experience: 4-6 years of experience. KSAOs: Prior experience in corporate/business aviation preferred
- FAA Type rating in the GV series strongly preferred
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position. Minimum Time Requirements: Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours.
