About This Role
Executive Jet Management (a NetJets / Berkshire Hathaway company) seeks a Pilot in Command for a Gulfstream 550 based at Philadelphia, PA (KPHL), flying Part 135. Four-pilot account, also open to a pilot based in West Palm Beach, FL (KPBI). The PIC holds final responsibility for safe, compliant, efficient aircraft operation and delivering an exceptional service experience. Owner flies ~85% domestic / 15% international.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensures the safe operation of flight (crewing/trip assignments compliant with company and regulatory requirements, flight planning, performance and weight & balance, TPC briefings, SOP compliance, Grounds and In-Flight Security Coordinator, pre-flight tasks, recording discrepancies, ground servicing, passenger briefings, CRM/TEM).
- Delivers an exceptional service experience to owners and passengers and resolves service deviations.
- Maintains proficiency and compliance with required training, recency of experience, and the company SMS program.
Requirements
- Years of Experience: 4-6 years of experience. FAA Type rating in applicable fleet. Prior experience in corporate/business aviation preferred. Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position. Minimum Time Requirements: Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours.
