About This Role
Executive Jet Management is seeking a Captain for a Global 7500 aircraft based in Windsor Locks, Connecticut (KBDL). The position supports a six-pilot Part 91 account with two dedicated maintenance technicians and two cabin attendants. The account operates approximately 500 hours annually, flies internationally more than 60% of the time, and is not commutable; well-qualified applicants are typed in the Global 7500 and live within two hours of BDL. The Captain has final responsibility for safe, compliant, and efficient aircraft operation while delivering a high-quality owner and passenger experience. The role combines flight planning, aircraft readiness, crew leadership, regulatory and company compliance, security coordination, customer service, and safety reporting.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Captain holds final responsibility for ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient aircraft operations. Duties include confirming compliant crewing and trip assignments
- completing flight planning, performance, weight-and-balance, and aircraft pre-flight tasks
- checking maintenance status and recording discrepancies
- monitoring fueling, oil, oxygen, and other ground servicing
- and conducting passenger briefings. The Captain leads required briefings using the Threats, Plans and Considerations methodology, follows company SOPs, coordinates with company personnel, and serves as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator. The role requires delivering exceptional service, supporting passengers with special needs, using CRM and TEM during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations, investigating service deviations, collaborating with internal partners and crew members, resolving conflicts, maintaining required training and recency, complying with the company SMS program, and reporting safety or non-compliance concerns through the proper channels.

Requirements
- The posting lists prior corporate or business aviation experience as preferred and specifies an FAA type rating in the Global 7500 or another Global aircraft. Minimum time requirements are 3,500 hours total flight time, 1,500 hours of Multi Engine Land time, 2,000 hours as Pilot in Command, 500 hours of PIC MEL time, 300 instrument hours, and 500 jet hours. Applicants must be able to perform the essential functions of the position. Well-qualified applicants are typed in the Global 7500 and must live within a two-hour radius of BDL
