About This Role
Executive Jet Management (a NetJets / Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary) is seeking a Pilot in Command for a Global 7500 based at Teterboro, NJ. This is a 4-pilot account flying part 91 and 135 (internal), approximately 450 hours per year, approximately 30% international. The successful candidate must live within a two hour radius of TEB; this is not a commutable job. The PIC holds final responsibility to ensure the aircraft is operated in a safe, compliant and efficient manner.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensures the safe operation of flight, including crewing and trip compliance, flight planning, performance, weight and balance, TPC briefings, SOP compliance, security coordination, pre-flight tasks, recording discrepancies, ground servicing oversight, passenger briefings, and CRM/TEM communication.
- Delivers an exceptional service experience to owners and passengers and resolves service deviations.
- Maintains regulatory and company-required training and recency, and complies with the company SMS program.
Requirements
- Prior experience in corporate/business aviation preferred. FAA Type rating in Global 7500 or similar aircraft size/type. Minimum Time Requirements: Total flight time 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL) 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command 2000 hours
- PIC MEL 500 hours
- Instrument 300 hours
- Jet 500 hours. Well qualified candidates are typed and current in the GL7500 or have experience flying similar aircraft size with international experience.
