About This Role
Executive Jet Management is seeking a Captain for a Global 6500 based at KOAK Airport in Oakland, California. The position operates on a Part 91 account with a dedicated maintenance technician and approximately 275 annual flight hours to domestic and international destinations. The Captain has final responsibility for safe, compliant, efficient aircraft operation, regulatory and company compliance, crew coordination, operational risk management, passenger service, security, and continued training and proficiency.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Captain holds final responsibility for ensuring the aircraft is operated safely, compliantly, and efficiently. Responsibilities include confirming compliant crewing and trip assignments
- completing flight planning, aircraft performance, weight and balance work
- leading required Threats, Plans and Considerations briefings
- following company SOPs
- coordinating with company personnel
- serving as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator
- completing pre-flight tasks and checking maintenance status
- recording aircraft discrepancies
- monitoring fueling, oil, oxygen, and other ground servicing
- and conducting passenger briefings. The role delivers a high-quality service experience by accommodating passenger needs, including the needs of physically challenged passengers, identifying service improvements, investigating and resolving service deviations, collaborating with crew and internal partners, and resolving conflicts appropriately. The Captain must use Crew Resource Management and Threat and Error Management during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations, maintain required training and recency, comply with the company SMS program, and report safety or non-compliance concerns through the appropriate channels.

Requirements
- Applicants must hold an FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) and a First Class Medical Certificate, with 4–6 years of experience.
- Prior corporate or business aviation experience is preferred.
- The KSAOs list an FAA type rating in the applicable fleet, while a Global 6500 type rating is specifically identified as preferred.
- Candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Minimum flight-time requirements are 3,500 hours total flight time, 1,500 hours Multi Engine Land, 2,000 hours Pilot in Command, 500 hours PIC MEL, 300 hours instrument time, and 500 hours jet time.
