About This Role
Jet Linx is hiring a full-time Pilot in Command for a Citation Sovereign SuperMid jet based in St. Louis, Missouri, supporting Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations. Reporting to the Base Chief Pilot, the PIC prepares and ensures the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with the Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures. The candidate is expected to live, or be willing to relocate, within a 2-hour call-out time of the aircraft.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Reporting directly to the Base Chief Pilot, the PIC prepares and ensures the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with the Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures. Essential functions include managing duty, flight, and rest times to meet company and CFR requirements
- maintaining communication with the company about standby-duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre- and post-flight reports
- maintaining and managing electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications
- keeping navigation charts, publications, and company manuals current
- maintaining a current 1st-class medical certificate
- demonstrating strong, proactive decision-making

The starting base annual salary ranges from $160,000 to $245,000actual base salary depends on geographic location, aircraft size for crew positions, and the candidate's relevant education, training, and experience. Requirements
- Minimum experience requirements are 3500 hours of total time, 2000 hours of total PIC time, 250 hours of total time in type, 250 hours of PIC time in type, 1500 hours of total multi-engine time, 500 hours of total multi-engine PIC time, 500 hours of total turbine time, and 300 hours of total instrument time. The posting requires the ability to obtain an ATP, a current 1st-class medical certificate, and an FCC Restricted Radio License
- initial or recurrent Part 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred. Candidates must be able to obtain a U.S. driver's license, provide proof of eligibility to work in the US, hold a current passport, and have unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries. They must be able to release and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot, work nights, weekends, and holidays, and have a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug/alcohol testing when required
- safety-sensitive personnel will undergo pre-employment testing for marijuana, cocaine, opiates, phencyclidine (PCP), and amphetamines. Most work is performed in and around aircraft and aircraft terminals, and the role requires moving up to 50 pounds frequently.
