About This Role
Advanced Air, LLC (FAA-approved Part 135 On-Demand Air Carrier) seeks a Lead Pilot / Pilot in Command for a Challenger 300 based in Crescent City, CA (KCEC). The role leads a two-person crew, operates the aircraft as PIC, and reports to the Chief Pilot / Director of Operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as the Lead Pilot supporting Advanced Air's VIP and Flight teams to facilitate and schedule owner flights, aircraft maintenance, and flight crew training. Manage the assigned crew's schedule and vacation requests. Maintain the aircraft in an owner-ready state (stocking, cleanliness, galley, amenities, passenger-facing electronics). Oversee cleaning, stocking, laundry, and inventory. Maintain Part 135 pilot qualification on the assigned aircraft. Oversee aircraft expenses within budget. Lead production of SOPs, checklists, and LOA approvals for the Challenger 300. Retain final authority for the safe operation of the aircraft (FAR 91.3). Ensure airworthiness via preflight inspection per the AFM. Review flight briefs
- comply with all FARs, company operations manual, ops specs, SOPs and company policies. Update flight and duty records and report maintenance discrepancies. Participate in safety management systems.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- CFI, CFII, MEI Certificates, preferred but not required.
- Digital dexterity for aircraft preflight and post flight.
- 3000 hours total time, 1000 PIC Turbine, Airline Transport Pilot and Challenger 300 PIC Type Rating.
- High-level working knowledge of FAR Part 91, 61 and AIM Part Section 4 and 5.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and to manipulate, push, pull, and lift heavy objects in excess of 150 lbs.
- Ability to climb onto and off of an airplane wing as part of the preflight, post flight, or during an over wing emergency exit.
- Ability to execute flights of up to 4.5 hours up to a total flight time of 10 hours per day during a 14-hour duty period.
- Applicant must live within 7 hours of the base airport (KCEC).
- Must pass a Preemployment DOT Drug test and be subject to random Drug Screening.
