About This Role
Part 135 Pilot in Command role at Ryan Air Services flying the CASA C-212 Aviocar out of Anchorage, AK, transporting passengers and cargo while upholding safety standards. Duties include planning safe routes, analyzing flight plans and weather, calculating fuel, inspecting operation systems and navigation equipment, and assisting ground crew with loading/unloading. Part-time, on-site, 2-week-on/2-week-off schedule with company-provided housing in rural stations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Pilot's responsibilities include transporting passengers and cargo on company aircraft while upholding Ryan Air's safety standards.
- The Pilot will determine the safest routes, analyze flight plans and weather conditions, calculate fuel, and inspect operation systems and navigation equipment.
- Additionally, Pilots are to assist the ground crew with loading and unloading of company aircraft.
Requirements
- PART 135 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS [61.159(a), 135.243 (c)]: Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have CASA 212 Type Rating.
- Must have a minimum of 1500 total flight hours.

- Must have a valid Commercial Certificate Airplane Multi-Engine Land and Instrument rating with 'English Proficient' endorsement, issued by U.S.
- Department of Transportation.
- Must have a valid First Class Medical Certificate, FAA Form 8500-9.
- No record of any FAA 'Certificate Action' within the prior 24 months.
- Must have a current valid Driver's license.
- Must have a current valid U.S.
- Passport (or from other country of origin, on approval from the Chief Pilot).
- Must be able to pass a TSA Background Check.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment DOT/FAA Drug Test.
- Must be able to lift 70-100 lbs.
- Must be able to work a 2 week on/2 week off schedule.
- Must be able to live in company provided housing out in rural stations.
