About This Role
Wing Aviation, a Houston-based boutique business aviation company (charter, management and brokerage since 2002), is seeking a Pilot in Command (PIC) for a Gulfstream V (GV) aircraft based in Houston, Texas. The PIC is responsible for the safe operation of the GV aircraft.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for the safe operation of the GV aircraft.
- Review the maintenance status of the aircraft.
- Conduct pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved aircraft flight manual.
- Complete check of weather and facilities along the route to be flown and airports to be used, including alternate airports.
- Ensure the flight is conducted following the policies and procedures of Wing Aviation and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Ensure the safety of all passengers, aircraft, and crew.
- Accurately complete of all trip paperwork in accordance with established procedures.
Requirements
- Certifications and Licenses Required FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) First Class Medical Ratings: GV PIC. Experience Requirements: Airman Certificate: ATP
- Ratings: Appropriate PIC Type Rating
- Medical Certificate: First-Class, valid for ATP privileges
- Total Flight Time: 3,500 (PIC)
- Multi Engine Land: 1,500 (PIC)
- Multi Engine PIC: 500 (PIC)
- Instrument: 300 (PIC)
- Turbine Engine: 500 (PIC)
- Time in Type: 200 (PIC). Transatlantic experience required. Crew needs to live within a 2 hour call out of where the jet is based.
