About This Role
NetJets is seeking a South Region First Officer to deliver safe, technically accurate private air transportation while providing a highly personalized Owner and passenger experience. The pilot remains in command of the aircraft, follows FAA, manufacturer, flight manual, and standard operating guidance, and also supports concierge-level service, including passenger briefings, catering, baggage, pets, and coordination with NetJets. The role requires substantial schedule flexibility and may involve long duty periods, extended trips away from home, multiple time zones, and challenging weather conditions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The First Officer supports the safe operation of each aircraft from taxi through takeoff and landing in accordance with FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, the NetJets Flight Operations Manual or Aircraft Operating Manual, and Standard Operating Practices.
- Duties include greeting Owners and passengers before departure, making introductions, briefing them on the flight and itinerary, providing weather updates and safety briefings, explaining itinerary changes, and acting as the liaison between passengers and NetJets from arrival at the FBO through departure from the destination FBO.
- The pilot provides in-flight service as needed, including handling alcohol and catering, loads and properly stows baggage, and accommodates flights involving pets or smoking passengers.
- The pilot is the final authority on the aircraft for operational matters and must comply with all applicable safety and regulatory guidance.
- Maintenance abnormalities and discrepancies must be communicated to the fleet Maintenance Control Center controller, with all associated paperwork completed properly.
- Other duties may be assigned depending on the pilot's position and assignment.

Requirements
- A high school education is listed. Candidates must hold an FAA Airline Transport Pilot certificate, a Restricted ATP, or meet the FAA ATP or R-ATP requirements under 61.160. The stated total-time alternatives are 1,500 hours, 1,250 hours with an appropriate university R-ATP certificate, or 1,000 hours with military pilot qualification or an appropriate university R-ATP certificate. Additional required experience includes 200 hours of cross-country flight time over 50 nautical miles, 250 hours of fixed-wing PIC time, 100 hours of night flying or 75 hours with at least 45 night takeoffs and landings, 75 hours of instrument time in actual or simulated flight excluding simulator time, and 50 hours of fixed-wing multi-engine time. The ATP written examination must be completed before Indoctrination Training. Applicants must also hold a current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate, FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit, valid passport, valid United States passport for unrestricted international travel, authorization to work in the United States, and a valid state driver's license. The role requires the ability to obtain airport authority and/or U.S. Customs security badges and pass TSA background screening

Candidates must be fluent in spoken and written English, service-oriented, neat and well groomed, able to interact positively with passengers, highly effective in oral and written communication under pressure, capable of making quick and accurate decisions, and able to meet the stated lifting and force requirements. The position also requires working around and caring for animals and conducting flights for Owners who smoke.
