About This Role
NetJets is recruiting First Officers throughout its South Central Region to provide safe, technically accurate private air transportation and exceptional service to NetJets Owners and passengers. The pilot represents NetJets throughout each trip and combines professional aviation responsibilities with concierge-level passenger service, including adapting to changing schedules, extended tours, different time zones, and varied operating conditions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate the aircraft safely during taxi, takeoff, flight, and landing in accordance with FAA guidance, OEM checklists, the NetJets Flight Operations Manual or Aircraft Operating Manual, and company standard operating practices. Greet Owners and passengers before flight, introduce the crew, confirm itineraries, explain trip changes, and provide weather and safety briefings. Deliver in-flight service when needed, including catering and alcohol service

- and accommodate passengers traveling with pets or who smoke. Exercise final authority over the aircraft and ensure compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory guidance. Serve as the liaison between NetJets and its Owners and passengers from their arrival at the departure FBO through their safe arrival and departure from the destination FBO. Report maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to the appropriate Maintenance Control Center controller and complete the associated paperwork. Perform other duties assigned according to the operating assignment.

Requirements
- High school education is required.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years old and qualify for an FAA ATP or Restricted ATP certificate with a multi-engine rating under 14 CFR 61.160. The stated pathways require 1,500 hours total flight time, 1,250 hours with an appropriate university R-ATP certificate, or 1,000 hours through either military pilot qualification or an appropriate university R-ATP certificate. Candidates must also have 200 hours of cross-country flight time beyond 50 nautical miles, 250 hours of fixed-wing PIC time, 100 hours of night flying or 75 hours with at least 45 night takeoffs and landings, 75 hours of actual or simulated in-flight instrument time excluding simulator time, and 50 hours of fixed-wing multi-engine time. The ATP written examination must be completed before starting Indoctrination Training. A current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate, FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit, valid United States passport, valid state driver's license, authorization to work in the United States, and unrestricted ability to travel internationally are required. Applicants must pass the required TSA background screening and obtain applicable airport-authority or U.S. Customs security badges. They must speak, read, write, and understand English fluently

The role requires substantial schedule flexibility, management of personal rest for flight duty, work during days, nights, weekends, and holidays, duties lasting up to 14 hours per day for as many as eight days, hotel stays away from home for seven or more days and nights, and travel across time zones and extreme weather differences. Candidates must be able to move objects requiring up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, work around and help care for animals, and conduct flights for Owners who smoke.
