About This Role
Talon Air is seeking a Challenger 604 Captain for its established Part 135 operation based in Farmingdale, New York. The company operates a fleet of 40+ aircraft, including Global 6000/5000, Gulfstream 550/450, GV, G-IVSP, Challenger 604/605, Challenger 3500, Falcon 2000, Hawker 4000 and G200 platforms, and has been operating for over 25 years. Most pilots are home-based and travel by airline to and from the aircraft for each rotation. The role offers mobility across the fleet, a path to larger-cabin aircraft, and opportunities with Part 91 accounts, check airman roles and other leadership positions. Captains conduct domestic and international assignments under Parts 91 and 135 while providing professional crew coordination and passenger service, with advertised total compensation of $200,000+, full benefits and a consistent 12/8 schedule.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct safe and efficient domestic and international flight assignments under 14 CFR Parts 91 and 135 while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Maintain a high degree of crew coordination and perform duties professionally, efficiently and cordially at all times.
- Greet passengers, assist with passenger seating and luggage storage, conduct passenger briefings, and respond to passenger requests and needs.
- Follow the duties and responsibilities stated in all company procedures manuals.
- Maintain a current first-class medical certificate in accordance with Talon Air policy and notify the company if a physical or mental condition could impair the ability to perform flight duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- The Education & Experience section lists an ATP, 3,000+ total time, 1,000 MEL, 750 PIC and 150 instrument. It specifically identifies 500+ MEL PIC and one year of Part 135 experience as preferred.
