About This Role
Clay Lacy Aviation is seeking a full-time Captain for a Part 91 Gulfstream G600 based in Van Nuys, California. The non-contract position operates approximately 200 to 250 hours annually and requires the pilot to live within a two-hour driving distance of the base or relocate accordingly. Candidates undergo a rigorous evaluation of procedural ability and situational awareness, and the role is classified as safety-sensitive under DOT/FAA drug and alcohol regulations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as Captain of the Part 91 Gulfstream G600 operation and comply with all Federal Aviation Regulations, the company operations manual, operations specifications, standard operating procedures, and company policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties and other job-related assignments as requested.
- Duties, responsibilities, and activities may be changed or supplemented at any time.

Requirements
- Applicants must have at least 3,500 hours of total flight time, 2,000 hours of pilot-in-command time, and 1,000 hours of turbine time. An ATP certificate and Gulfstream G-VII type certification are required, together with at least 200 hours on type. Candidates must reside within a two-hour driving distance of Van Nuys or be willing to relocate, as this is not a commutable position. They must have unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canadian, and Caribbean countries

- submit to random drug and alcohol testing when required
- and provide full, legible color copies of both sides of all FAA certificates, including their medical certificate, along with a completed disclosure form.
