About This Role
Clay Lacy Aviation is seeking a full-time Captain for its Part 91 Dassault Falcon 900EX operation based at Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (KBZN). The aircraft operates approximately 200 hours annually, and the position requires a current DA-900 type rating, at least 200 hours in type, substantial total and PIC experience, and residence within a two-hour drivable commute of Bozeman or relocation to the area. The role is part of Clay Lacy Aviation's private aviation operation and includes rigorous evaluation of procedural ability and situational awareness, strict compliance with FAA and company operating requirements, and safety-sensitive DOT/FAA screening.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Captain will support Clay Lacy Aviation's Part 91 Falcon 900EX operation based in Bozeman, which is expected to operate approximately 200 hours annually.
- Responsibilities include complying with all applicable Federal Aviation regulations, the company operations manual, operations specifications, standard operating procedures, and company policies and procedures.
- The position is classified as safety-sensitive under DOT/FAA drug and alcohol regulations and requires participation in pre-employment and, when required, random drug and alcohol testing, as well as background screening.

Requirements
- Applicants must have 3,500 hours of total flight time, 2,000 hours of PIC time, and 1,000 hours of turbine time.
- An ATP is required, along with DA-900 type certification and a minimum of 200 hours in type.
- Candidates must reside within a two-hour drivable commute of Bozeman, Montana, or be able to relocate there, and must have an unrestricted ability to travel internationally.
- The Captain must comply with all Federal Aviation regulations, the company operations manual, operations specifications, standard operating procedures, and company policies and procedures.
- The application process requires full, legible, color copies of both sides of all FAA certificates, including the medical certificate, as well as completion of a disclosure form.
- Candidates must pass DOT/FAA drug screening and background checks and submit to random drug and alcohol testing when required.
- This is a safety-sensitive position under DOT/FAA drug and alcohol regulations, and all applicants must complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- The position is full-time only and not offered on a contract basis.
