About This Role
Clay Lacy Aviation is hiring a Captain for its Part 91 Challenger 605 based at Laurence G. Hanscom Field Airport in Bedford, Massachusetts (KBED). The role is full-time only, with no contract option, and carries a relatively light schedule of approximately 250 flight hours per year. Clay Lacy positions its pilots among the best in private aviation and selects candidates through a rigorous evaluation of procedural ability and situational awareness. Applicants must already be type rated on the Challenger (Bombardier CL-604 type certification) and reside within a two-hour drivable commute of the base. Compensation ranges from $260,000 to $285,000 per year with fully employer-paid medical premiums.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Captain operates Clay Lacy Aviation's Part 91 Challenger 605 out of Bedford, MA on a full-time basis, flying roughly 250 hours per year.
- Duties include complying with all Federal Aviation Regulations, the company operations manual, operations specifications, standard operating procedures, and company policies and procedures.
- Responsibilities may change or expand as assigned.
- Pilots are expected to uphold Clay Lacy's high standards of safety, service, and professionalism.

Requirements
- Required experience: 3,500 hours total time, 2,000 hours pilot-in-command (PIC) time, and 1,000 hours turbine time.
- Candidates must hold an FAA First Class Medical certificate and an FAA-issued Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
- A Bombardier CL-604 type certification is required, with a minimum of 200 hours in type, and applicants must already be type rated.
- A valid, unexpired driver's license and a valid, unexpired passport are required.
- Candidates must reside within a two-hour drivable commute of the Bedford, MA (KBED) base, or be able to relocate.
- Full, legible color copies of all FAA certificates (both sides), including the medical, a completed pilot disclosure form, and professional references are required during the application process.
- All applicants must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
