About This Role
flydubai is seeking Pilot Cadets to join their B737 MAX fleet based in Dubai as Second Officers. This is an entry-level position for aspiring pilots aged 20-50 with minimum flight experience (225 hours for ages 20-34, 1,000 hours for ages 35-50). Candidates must hold a CPL/IR with MCC for Frozen ATPL, a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate, and demonstrate fluency in English and Arabic. The role offers cadets the opportunity to gain operational experience as Second in Command under experienced Captains while building their career in commercial aviation.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate as Second in Command on B737 MAX aircraft during normal and non-normal situations
- Provide continuous input and assistance to the Captain in safe and efficient flight operations
- Act as a brand ambassador and maintain high personal standards of discipline, conduct, and appearance
- Support crew and customer welfare as duty of care
- Assist Captain with fueling, baggage/cargo loading, and aircraft servicing
- Execute all duties according to flydubai Operations Manuals and procedures
- Complete all required Information Security awareness sessions
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Fluent in English and Arabic
- 225 hours flying time (ages 20-34) OR 1,000 hours flying time (ages 35-50)
- CPL/IR with MCC for Frozen ATPL license
- Valid ICAO Class 1 Medical Certificate
- ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or above
- GCAA Air-law exam (applicable to foreign license holders)
- Proof of military service completion (preferred) or military exemption
- Age between 20-50 years
