About This Role
GFK Flight Support seeks an experienced Pilatus PC-12 Pilot-In-Command for air ambulance operations based in Sidney, Montana. The PIC will be responsible for safe and efficient transport of crew, patients, and medical equipment using a twin-engine fixed-wing aircraft. The position includes comprehensive training at FlightSafety International, competitive salary with full benefits, and a favorable two-weeks-on/two-weeks-off schedule. Applicants must hold commercial multi-engine certification, instrument rating, and meet FAA Part 135 minimums for IFR operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Directly responsible for safe and efficient transport of crew members, patients, and other passengers
- Ensure compliance with FAR, AIM, and General Operations Manual procedures
- Function as flight crew member and ensure safety during transport
- Serve as safety officer for specialty teams transporting neonatal patients
- Assist medical crew with equipment movement and patient loading/unloading
- Assess flight conditions and notify crew and dispatch of operational changes
- Identify early warning signs of flight or aircraft condition changes
- Assign tasks to crew members during operational emergencies
- Complete shift hand-off report with incoming PIC
- Conduct thorough aircraft walk-around at shift start
- Conduct safety and operational briefings with medical crew
- Complete and submit required documentation and incident reports
- Maintain competency in assigned airframe
- Participate in company meetings, training, and regulatory checkoffs
- Establish and maintain communication with crew and stakeholders
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
- Commercial Single-Engine Land (ASEL) certification
- Commercial Multi-Engine Land (AMEL) certification
- Instrument Rating
- Current FAA First or Second-Class Medical Certificate
- Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
- FAA Part 135 Minimum Flight Experience for PIC IFR Operations
- Minimum 50 hours in Pilatus PC-12
- Preferred: 2500 total flight hours (2000 in airplane category)
- Preferred: 1000 hours PIC
- Preferred: 500+ hours cross-country time
- Preferred: 100+ hours Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC)
- Preferred: 100+ hours night flight
- Preferred: Air Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
- Preferred: Previous air medical transport experience
- Preferred: Previous simulator training in Pilatus PC-12
- Preferred: Minimum 3 years related experience
- Preferred: CAMTS Minimum Standards certification
