About This Role
ExecuJet Middle East is seeking an experienced PIC/Lead Commander for their Gulfstream 500 fleet based in Dubai. The operator provides comprehensive business aviation services with a focus on safety and excellence in corporate/executive transport. Candidates must hold a current ATPL with G500 type rating and demonstrate 4,000 total flight hours including 1,000 hours PIC and 2,000 hours jet time, with prior corporate aviation experience essential. This full-time position offers a rostered schedule with leave allocation and the opportunity to lead flight operations for high-profile clientele in the Middle East region.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform PIC/Lead Commander duties as per Operations Manual
- Liaise with passengers and aircraft owner regarding operational issues and scheduling
- Ensure aircraft is operated in accordance with EJME Operations Manual and applicable aviation regulations
- Ensure aircraft compliance with company SOPs, Operations Manual, and civil aviation regulations
- Make all final decisions regarding aircraft operations and safety
- Verify aircraft airworthiness and ensure all paperwork is in order before departure
- Create a safe and professional environment on-board with emphasis on crew resource management
- Verify passenger travel documents are correct before departure
- Hold ultimate responsibility for passenger safety and compliance with flight attendant instructions
- Conduct passenger briefings on journey time, en-route weather, and potential delays
- Ensure crew professionalism and maintain ExecuJet Middle East reputation
- Report abnormalities, events, incidents or accidents through proper channels
- Promote and support company safety management culture
- Ensure compliance with all internal and external regulations and procedures

Requirements
- Valid ATPL license with current G500 type rating
- Minimum 4,000 hours total flight time

- Corporate/Business Aviation G500 line training and checking experience essential
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate (implied)
