About This Role
Jet Linx Aviation is recruiting a full-time Pilot in Command for the Gulfstream G200 super-midsize jet in San Antonio, Texas, supporting Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations. The PIC reports to the Base Chief Pilot and prepares and ensures the safe, efficient operation of company aircraft under the Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures. The pilot must live or be willing to relocate within a two-hour call-out time of the home base and will be responsible for duty, flight and rest compliance, company operational communications, EFB readiness, current publications, and proactive decision-making.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Pilot in Command reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot and prepares and ensures the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures. The PIC manages duty, flight, and rest times against company and CFR requirements
- maintains communication for standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre- and post-flight reports
- maintains and manages EFB hardware and applications
- and keeps navigation charts, publications, and company manuals current. The role requires a current first-class medical certificate, strong proactive decision-making, and consistent demonstration of Jet Linx's core values. The work is primarily performed in and around aircraft and aircraft terminals, includes frequent movement of up to 50 pounds, and requires availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Jet Linx offers a competitive compensation and benefits package with a starting base annual salary ranging from $160,000 to $245,000. Actual base salary depends on geographic location, aircraft size for crew positions, and the candidate's relevant education, training, and experience. Requirements
- Minimum qualifications require 3,500 hours of total flight time, 2,000 hours of total PIC time, 250 hours of PIC time in type, 1,000 hours of multi-engine time, 500 hours of multi-engine PIC time, 1,000 hours of turbine time, 1,000 hours of turbine PIC time, 300 hours of instrument time, 1,500 hours of total jet time, and 500 hours of total jet PIC time.
- Initial or recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred.
- Candidates must be able to obtain a U.S. driver's license, provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States, hold a current passport, and have the ability to obtain an ATP.
- The role also requires a 1st Class Medical and an FCC Restricted Radio License, successful completion of pre-employment drug screening, and participation in random drug and alcohol testing when required, including testing for marijuana, cocaine, opiates, phencyclidine (PCP), and amphetamines in safety-sensitive functions.
- Applicants need unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries, must be able to release and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot, and must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- Most work is performed in and around aircraft and aircraft terminals, and the employee must be able to move up to 50 pounds frequently.
