About This Role
Jet Linx Aviation is seeking a full-time Pilot in Command (PIC) for its Gulfstream G200 SuperMid jet aircraft. Listed in Omaha, Nebraska, the commutable USA floater role supports Part 91 and 135 flight operations, and candidates are expected to have access to multiple non-stop, direct flights to major hub airports daily. Reporting to the Base Chief Pilot, the PIC prepares and ensures the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with the Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The PIC reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot and prepares and ensures the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with the Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures. Essential functions include managing duty, flight, and rest times to the requirements of both the company and CFRs
- maintaining communication with the company for standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre- and post-flight reports
- maintaining and managing electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications
- ensuring navigation charts, publications, and company manuals remain current
- maintaining a current first-class medical certificate
- conveying strong, proactive decision-making skills
- and demonstrating Jet Linx's core values in all interactions.
What We Offer
Jet Linx offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. The starting base annual salary is $195,000 to $251,000, with the actual base salary dependent on geographic location, aircraft size for crew positions, and the candidate's relevant education, training, and experience. The comprehensive package includes health, dental, and vision insurancea 401(k) with a 6% company matchpaid time offand company-paid life and short-term disability coverage.
Requirements
- Minimum requirements are 3500 hours of total time, 2000 hours of total PIC time, 250 hours of total time in type, 250 hours of total PIC time in type, 1500 hours of total multi-engine time, 500 hours of total multi-engine PIC time, 500 hours of total turbine time, and 300 hours of total instrument time. Initial or recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred. Other requirements include the ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license, proof of eligibility to work in the United States, a current passport, an ATP with the ability to obtain an ATP noted, a first-class medical, and an FCC Restricted Radio License. Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug/alcohol testing when required
- the safety-sensitive pre-employment screen covers marijuana, cocaine, opiates, phencyclidine (PCP), and amphetamines. The role requires unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries, the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. A majority of the work is completed in and around aircraft and aircraft terminals, and the role requires moving up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
