About This Role
Solairus Aviation is hiring a full-time Phenom 300 Second-in-Command (co-pilot) for a managed private-aviation operation based at Chicago Executive Airport (KPWK) in Wheeling, Illinois.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for the safe operation of the Phenom 300.
- Conduct flights safely and prudently, including reviewing the aircraft's maintenance status, performing a proper pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual, and checking weather and facilities along the route and at all airports used, including alternates.
- Ensure each flight complies with Solairus Aviation policies and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, safeguard the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew, and complete all trip paperwork accurately.

Requirements
- Minimum flight experience: 1,000 hours total time
- 500 hours PIC
- 500 hours multi-engine land
- 100 hours multi-engine land PIC
- 100 hours turbojet
- and 75 hours instrument. Must be type rated on the Phenom 300 or a comparable aircraft. First class medical certificate required. Must be available to work on an on-call basis and to complete ICAO international procedures training annually. Primary residence within a two-hour drive of Chicago Executive Airport (KPWK), or willingness to relocate.
