About This Role
CAE, through its 53 CAE Simuflite Inc business-aviation training center, is hiring an On-Call Ground School Instructor in Dallas to deliver engaging, high-quality technical and operational classroom training to business aviation pilots. The instructor facilitates ground school programs, guides learners throughout their training journey, and ensures complex aviation concepts are communicated clearly, accurately, and effectively while representing CAE and Bombardier products. This is an on-call, fixed-term position that requires availability to deliver training a minimum of eight days per month.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver ground school training programs to business aviation pilots and facilitate engaging classroom learning experiences using a variety of instructional techniques.
- Present technical and operational aviation content in a clear, accurate, and learner-focused manner, and foster a positive learning environment that encourages participation and knowledge retention.
- Maintain subject-matter expertise through continuous learning and professional development, and adapt training delivery to accommodate different learning styles and needs.
- Provide high-quality customer service while professionally representing CAE and Bombardier products, and collaborate with training teams to continuously improve course content and delivery methods.

Requirements
- Minimum qualifications: an aviation background, aviation education, or a demonstrated strong interest in aviation
- a proven ability to teach, coach, or effectively facilitate learning
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- strong presentation skills with confidence speaking in front of groups
- a professional, polished, customer-focused approach
- the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and understandably
- self-motivation with the ability to independently learn and stay current on technical topics
- strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience
- proficiency with classroom technology and virtual training platforms
- and availability to deliver training a minimum of eight days per month. No pilot license is required at the minimum level
Preferred Qualifications
- experience delivering aviation or technical training, experience working in business aviation environments, and an FAA ATP with flying experience.
