About This Role
Toll Aviation is seeking an experienced fixed-wing Captain for its Sydney-based air ambulance contract, operating King Air B350 and Pilatus PC-24 aircraft. The role involves single-pilot operations conducted in close teamwork with Flight Nurses, health care professionals and Toll colleagues, delivering emergency patient retrieval and patient-transfer services throughout New South Wales and into other states. Pilots start and finish shifts at Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport while supporting safe, reliable and mission-critical aeromedical services.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate Toll Aviation's King Air B350 and Pilatus PC-24 fleet as a single pilot on an air ambulance contract.
- Work closely with Flight Nurses, health care professionals and fellow Toll Aviation colleagues to deliver safe, reliable and mission-critical aeromedical services.
- Conduct emergency patient retrieval and patient transfer missions across all of New South Wales and into other states, and commence and finish each shift at Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport.

Requirements
- The minimum requirements are a CASA ATPL, or a CPL with all ATPL subjects completed, a CASA Class 1 Medical Certificate, 1,500 hours of PIC experience, 400 hours of multi-engine PIC experience, 100 hours of night PIC experience, and 250 hours of instrument flight time, including at least 125 hours in flight.
- Applicants must also have a minimum of three multi-engine instrument rating renewals, be able to work with a multi-disciplined team of professionals, and be able to pass a working with children check and obtain an ASIC card.
- Desirable qualifications and experience include prior King Air B350 or Pilatus PC-24 experience, a check and training background, and 1,000 hours of turbine PIC time.
- Candidates must be entitled to work in Australia and be prepared to complete pre-employment checks, including criminal history and medical checks.
