About This Role
Great North Airlines, a Canadian airline providing ACMI operations and mission-critical charters for government agencies, First Nations communities, and corporate partners, is seeking experienced CRJ Captains. The Captain is responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft, supervises other crew members, has primary responsibility for the flight, and reports to the Chief Pilot. Offered compensation is a minimum $110,000+ per year plus benefits.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Company aircraft.
- Ensure all pre-flight, inflight and post-flight duties are completed safely consistent with published Transport Canada regulations and standards as well as Company policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all crew members perform their flight duties consistent with published Transport Canada regulations and standards as well as Company policies and procedures.
- Any other responsibilities and duties assigned by the Chief Pilot.
Requirements
- 4,000 hours Total Time.
- 500 hours propeller time.
- Must hold Transport Canada Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
- Must hold Transport Canada Category I Medical Certificate.
- Able to obtain Transport Canada Security Clearance.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Able to operate Company aircraft domestically, trans-border and internationally without restriction.
- Aviation diploma/degree an asset.
- Must be fluent in English language.
