About This Role
Tradewind Aviation seeks an experienced Regional Chief Pilot for Northeast operations (HPN base). This leadership role involves pilot supervision, regulatory compliance, training/checking, and limited line flying. Requires CPL/ATPL with strong FAA Part 135 knowledge and previous pilot leadership experience.
Requirements
- Commercial (CPL) or Airline Transport Pilot (ATPL) certificate
- Appropriate ratings for company operations
- Strong knowledge of FAA Part 135 regulations and operational requirements
- Previous experience in pilot leadership, supervision, or pilot development strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexibly and support on-call operational needs
- Ability to travel occasionally
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, professionalism, and high operational standards
- Current pilot qualifications and currency in accordance with FAA requirements
