About This Role
Starlink Aviation is looking for a Captain dedicated to a Learjet 75 flown on charter and private operations for an owner client, based at Dorval (Montreal). Reporting to Starlink Aviation's Vice-President of Operations, the Captain plans and safely manages all of their international flights and keeps the aircraft manuals and checklists up to date, working closely with the Starlink Aviation team. The role is explicitly described as an ambassador role between the owner client and the operator, ensuring the interests of all stakeholders are served in achieving the owner-client's flight objectives with complete peace of mind.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Reporting to Starlink Aviation's Vice-President of Operations, the Captain plans and safely manages all of their international flights and updates the aircraft manuals and checklists, working in close collaboration with the Starlink Aviation team.
- The Captain also acts as the ambassador between the owner client and the operator, ensuring that the benefits of all stakeholders are secured in achieving the owner-client's flight objectives in complete serenity.

Requirements
- Basic conditions for joining the company's pilot team are Canadian citizenship
- having successfully passed the Transport Canada medical examinations leading to a Class 1 medical certificate
- eligibility for a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)
- and being bilingual in French and English — the posting justifies the language requirement by the need for clear and accurate communication with air traffic controllers and ground teams in various countries on international flights, and by the legal and regulatory requirements for international operations, particularly around documentation and communication. A Canadian airline transport pilot licence with a valid instrument rating is required. The required experience is a minimum of 3,000 flight hours, possession of an ATPL, international experience, medical evacuation experience (an asset) and business jet experience (Learjet or similar). Desired aptitudes are a Learjet 75 type rating (an asset), excellent interpersonal skills, resourcefulness, leadership and flexibility, and a highly safety-focused professional record. No PIC, turbine or multi-engine hour minimum is stated.
