About This Role
Executive Jet Management (a NetJets/Berkshire Hathaway company) seeks a Lead Pilot in Command for a Global XRS aircraft based at Miami, FL (KOPF), on a three-pilot Part 135 account. The Lead PIC is a peer-leader for the flight department, actively flies the schedule, manages client relationships, and handles flight department administration while ensuring safe, compliant operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Serves as a peer-leader to a designated flight department with a focus on crew resource management, client service, and flight department administration.
- Actively participates in the flying schedule and adheres to all PIC duties.
- Manages client relationships, coordinates with maintenance personnel, completes flight planning / performance / weight and balance, uses TPC briefing methodology, complies with company SOPs, acts as Ground and In-Flight Security Coordinator, completes pre-flight tasks and passenger briefings, and maintains regulatory and company-required training and recency.
Requirements
- Years of Experience 4-6 years of experience. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs): Prior experience in corporate/business aviation preferred
- FAA Type rating in applicable fleet
- Must be able to perform the essential job functions associated with the position. Minimum Time Requirements: Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours.
