About This Role
Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary and part of NetJets, is recruiting a Lead Pilot in Command for a Global 6000 aircraft based in Bridgeport, Connecticut. This is a hands-on peer leadership role within a two-pilot corporate flight department operating under both Part 91 and Part 135 regulations. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3,500 total flight hours, including 2,000 PIC hours and 500 jet hours, along with FAA ATP and Global 6000 type rating. This position offers a competitive salary range of $200,000-$425,000 annually, with opportunities to lead flight operations, manage crew resources, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver exceptional service to a high-profile client.
Requirements
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) license
- FAA Type rating in Global 6000
- Minimum 3,500 hours total flight time
- Minimum 2,000 hours Pilot in Command
- Minimum 1,500 hours Multi-Engine Land (MEL)
- Minimum 500 hours PIC on MEL aircraft
- Minimum 500 hours jet time
- Minimum 300 hours instrument time
- Valid FAA medical certificate
- Prior corporate/business aviation experience preferred
- Ability to perform essential job functions
- Pass pre-employment drug screening
- Pass background check
- Ability to obtain security clearance if required
