About This Role
Jet Aviation Lead Captain on the Gulfstream 700 based in San Jose, CA. Serves as Pilot in Command for assigned flights in a private/business aviation (aircraft management & charter) operation, with leadership and crew-mentorship responsibilities. Anticipated salary range $385,000 to $435,000.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead with Confidence: Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all assigned flights, including pre-flight and post-flight inspections, filing flight plans, and analyzing weather and route conditions.
- Crew Leadership & Development: Mentor and guide crew members, conduct performance reviews, coordinate schedules and training.
- Deliver Excellence: Maintain a complete working knowledge of all aircraft systems, manage flight plans, and adapt to changing conditions.
- Champion Safety & Compliance: Promote a strong safety culture, conduct passenger briefings, and address aircraft discrepancies with maintenance teams.
- Provide Administrative Excellence: Manage trip documentation, maintain aircraft manuals, assist in crew hiring.
- Represent the Brand.
Requirements
- Expert Credentials: Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and FAA First Class Medical require Proven Experience: Five years aviation experience with 3,500 hours total fixed-wing time, including 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command, 1,500 hours Multi-Engine, 500 hours Turbo-Jet, 500 hours Turbine, 100 hours Night, and 75 hours Simulated Instrument.
- Flexibility: Ability to work a variable schedule to meet flight mission profiles.
- Global Readiness: Willingness to travel extensively worldwide with no restrictions.
- Education: High school diploma required License Requirements: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
