Jet Aviation Lead Captain (Pilot in Command) for private aviation flight assignments on the Global 6000, based in Opa Locka, Florida. The role combines command of assigned flights with crew leadership, mentorship, and brand representation, at an anticipated salary of $275,000-$300,000.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • The Lead Captain serves as the Pilot in Command (PIC) for assigned flights, ensuring the highest standards of safety, security, and quality.
  • Lead with Confidence: Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all assigned flights, including pre-flight and post-flight inspections, filing flight plans, and analyzing weather and route conditions to make informed decisions.
  • Crew Leadership & Development: Mentor and guide crew members to foster professional growth, conduct performance reviews, coordinate schedules and training to maintain seamless operations.
  • Champion Safety & Compliance: Promote a strong safety culture by adhering to best practices, conducting passenger briefings, and promptly addressing aircraft discrepancies in collaboration with maintenance teams.
Requirements
  • Expert Credentials: Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and FAA First Class Medical require Proven Experience: Five years aviation experience with 3,500 hours total fixed-wing time, including 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command, 1,500 hours Multi-Engine, 500 hours Turbo-Jet, 500 hours Turbine, 100 hours Night, and 75 hours Simulated Instrument.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a variable schedule to meet flight mission profiles.
  • Global Readiness: Willingness to travel extensively worldwide with no restrictions.
  • Education: High school diploma required License Requirements: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
