About This Role
Captain / Pilot-in-Command on the King Air 300 for Metrea's Special Air Missions Group, flying ISR and special-mobility missions across the UK and European Union under UK CAA/EASA/FAA rules. Hybrid/deployed role with rotational European deployments and a UK & Europe home base.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate a King Air 300 as Pilot in Command in accordance with EASA/CAA/FAA and company/customer directives
- monitor airspace, weather, radio, mission boundaries, traffic and aircraft systems
- coordinate flights with FBOs, ATC (military and civilian), company site leads and mission coordination
- perform ISR flights day, night and all-weather
- operate from remote, austere, possibly unimproved runways.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 1500 hours total flight time
- Minimum 1000 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC)
- Minimum 200 hours of night flight time
- Minimum 500 hours of cross-country flight time
- Minimum 500 hours PIC flight time in multi engine, turboprop aircraft. Required Licenses: FAA Issued commercial Pilot License(CPL) with multi-engine (AMEL) rating and Instrument rating or an FAA issued Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) license with multi-engine land (AMEL) rating
- UK CAA or EASA issued Commercial Pilot License(CPL) with Instrument Rating (IR) or Airline Transport Pilots License (ATPL) with Instrument Rating (IR)
- valid UK/EASA/FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate. Desirable: FAA BE300 Type Rating
- UK or EASA BE300/1900 Type Rating
- ISR experience.
