About This Role
Dynamic Aviation is recruiting a King Air 90 Captain for its Sterile Insect Technique (SIT) operations, with the role listed in Edinburg, Texas and described as based out of Texas. The position provides single-pilot expertise to meet company requirements and customer needs, requiring safe and professional King Air operations and accurate flying against mission criteria. It combines operational preparation and awareness covering destinations, alternates, weather, fuel and oil, navigation and radio aids, and NOTAMs with pre- and post-flight inspections, coordination with the base manager, customer, and system operations center, and accurate recurring digital reporting.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Captain will pilot the King Air 90 as a single-pilot Captain in a safe and professional manner
- remain familiar with the destination, alternate airports, actual and forecast meteorological conditions, fuel and oil requirements, navigation and radio aids, and applicable NOTAMs
- complete pre- and post-flight aircraft inspections before and after every mission
- fly accurately in relation to mission criteria
- communicate effectively with the base manager, customer, and system operations center
- and complete daily, weekly, or monthly digital reports, including maintenance records and timesheets, accurately and on time. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements
- The posting requires an FAA Commercial / Instrument / Multi-Engine license, 1,200 hours total time, 250 hours as pilot-in-command, 50 hours of night flying, and 50 hours of instrument time, including 5 hours in actual instrument weather. It also requires 100 hours of the stated flight time in the past 12 months
- 100 hours of multi-engine time as pilot-in-command if multi-engine aircraft are used
- the ability to operate the electronic guidance system
- at least a second-class medical
- relocation to Texas
- and the ability to work as a team member. Preferred qualifications are 25 hours of pilot-in-command time in the make and model to be flown, specifically the Beechcraft King Air, including at least 10 hours acquired in the preceding 12 calendar months, plus Spanish fluency and prior cross-cultural and foreign-language experience.
