About This Role
Aery Aviation, LLC seeks a Second-In-Command (Co-Pilot) in the King Air 350 supporting OCONUS government/ISR flight operations under U.S. Army standards. The SIC ensures safe, effective flight operations, identifies maintenance issues, and completes safety-of-flight documentation. Requires DoD security clearance, U.S. citizenship, and prior military/contractor ISR flying background.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The SIC ensures safe, effective, and efficient flight operations, including identifying aircraft maintenance issues and coordinating corrective actions.
- All safety-of-flight documentation must be completed in accordance with applicable industry and U.S.
- Army standards.
Requirements
- Flight Hour & FAA Requirements (required): 1000 hours of total documented flight time
- 500 hours PIC total time
- 100 hours of Multi-Engine time
- Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
- valid FAA Commercial Airplane and Airplane Airman Certificate
- Multiengine Land and Instrument Airplane ratings
- US Citizen with active DoD Secret clearance or higher
- minimum age 21
- valid passport and driver license
- read/write/speak/understand English
- ability to meet contractual/DoD medical requirements for OCONUS travel and complete CRC within 90 days. Bachelor degree with 5+ years related experience (additional aviation experience may substitute). You Must Have (elevated/competitive profile): Active DoD Top Secret clearance
- 300 hours PIC time in King Air 300/350 or similar multi-engine turboprop
- 200 hours Instrument (actual) time
- 200 hours Turbine time
- Proline 21 experience
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) rating held for the last two consecutive years
- prior U.S. Military/Customs/DEA/US Contracting ISR pilot experience
- U.S. Military Standardization Instructor/Instructor/Maintenance Pilot experience
- prior OCONUS rotation experience.
