About This Role
Ryanair (operating as Buzz) is recruiting experienced Boeing 737 Captains for bases across Central and Eastern Europe. Candidates must hold an EASA ATPL with B737 type rating and meet strict experience requirements including 3500 total hours with 800 PIC hours on multi-crew jet aircraft and 500 PIC hours specifically on B737-300 to 900 aircraft. Comprehensive type rating training will commence in October 2026, with base selection awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Requirements
- Valid EASA ATPL license
- Unlimited right to live and work in EU
- Maximum age 65 years
- Valid EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Minimum 3500 hours total flight time
- Minimum 2000 hours on multi-crew, multi-engine jets over 30,000 kg MTOW with a reputable airline, cargo operator, private operator, or military transport
- Minimum 800 hours PIC on multi-crew, multi-engine jets over 30,000 kg MTOW
- Minimum 500 hours PIC on B737-300 to 900 aircraft
- Valid B737-300 to 900 type rating
- B737-300 to 900 rating must not be expired for more than 3 years at planned course start date
- Verified command line flight on B737-300 to 900 within 36 months prior to course start date
- ICAO English Level 4 (operational level) in writing and speech
- Successful completion of EASA CAT.GEN.MPA.175 behavioral assessment (AON online assessment €60 + comprehensive psychological evaluation)
