About This Role
OBXtek seeks Instructor Pilots/CI for MC-130J training at Kadena AB, Japan (AFSOC 492 SOW). Requires 5 years AFSOC aircrew experience, previous instructor certification on MDS (or 8 years military operational flying + 200 hours inflight instructor time), and Secret clearance. Provides comprehensive DoD-standard flight and ground instruction.
Requirements
- Valid Secret Security Clearance
- Minimum 5 years AFSOC aircrew experience
- Previous instructor certification on MC-130J MDS within last 2 years, OR 8 years military operational flying duty plus 200 hours inflight instructor experience on MC-130J within last 4 years
- Current or recently current in U.S. military aircraft
- Knowledge of DoD, USSOCOM, and Air Force Instructions (AFI)
- Proficiency with Federal Aviation Administration Order 7110.65 or ICAO procedures
- Ability to instruct on aircraft systems, radios, datalinks, and cryptographic devices
- Experience with Aircrew Graduate Evaluation Program (AGEP)
- Ability to support Instrument Refresher Course (IRC), Crew Resource Management (CRM), and Night Vision Devices instruction
