About This Role
Silverhawk Aviation's Ignite Flight Academy partnership hires full-time Citation or King Air Second in Command pilots for its Lincoln, Nebraska charter operation. Pilots support the PIC with preflight and cockpit checks, cabin readiness and Part 135 flight- and duty-time compliance while serving repeat clients across North America, Mexico and the Caribbean. Applicants need 1,000 total hours, a multi-engine commercial certificate, a passport, recent currency and a clean FAA record, and must live or relocate within one hour of KLNK or KOMA; Silverhawk will help suitable hires obtain an ATP. The role averages 15-17 flying days per month and includes schedule options, company ownership and profit sharing, health coverage, employer-paid disability and life insurance, PTO and a company-paid CTP course.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Report to the Pilot in Command, and performs duties assigned by the PIC. Preflight the airplane
- accomplish preflight cockpit checks
- stock the galley with coffee, ice, snacks, and drinks
- check the cabin appearance. Maintain and monitor flight-time and duty-time to ensure compliance and proper qualifications specified by CFR § 135 and Silverhawk Aviation Operations Manual.

Requirements
- 1000 hours total time.
- Multi Commercial (ATP preferred—Silverhawk Aviation will assist hired pilots in obtaining their ATP if needed).
- Passport.
- 90-day currency.
- Clean FAA record.
- Must be located or willing to relocate to within 1 hour of KLNK/KOMA airports.
