About This Role
USAF contractor instructor pilot role delivering aircrew academic and simulator instruction on the HC-130J and MC-130J aircraft and mission sets, including curriculum development and instruction of basic qualification, refresher, and instructor upgrade courses.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Accomplish the full range of aircrew academic and simulator instruction in the HC-130J and MC-130J aircraft and mission sets.
- Apply varied instructional and learning theories and practices to mentor and instruct technically exact material, demanding processes, and strict adherence to instructions and regulations.
- Serve as subject matter expert in the assessment of existing lessons and development of curriculum for new lessons as required.
- Maintain an expert level of knowledge to instruct basic qualification, refresher, and instructor upgrade courses.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have Security Clearance.
- Minimum of an Associate degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of 200 hours USAF Instructor time in the C-130J, AC-130J, HC-130J or MC-130J airframe.
- Candidates will be subject to frequent written and performance evaluations to levels of expert knowledge and instructional ability.
- Applicants must be willing and able to work varying shifts, weekend, and in outdoors conditions as required.
- Applicants will be subject to a US Government security investigation and must be able to obtain/maintain the required security clearance (Secret).
