About This Role
Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Flight Attendant for a Gulfstream GV operation based at KAUS in Austin. The role provides personalized passenger service while maintaining cabin safety, preparing and serving food and beverages, administering basic first aid, and completing preflight, inflight, and post-flight duties. The position requires substantial corporate flight-attendant experience, culinary capability, schedule flexibility, worldwide travel availability, and readiness for short-notice and extended deployments.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide a high level of service while ensuring passenger safety and comfort during flights. Greet passengers, conduct preflight briefings, explain safety equipment, direct and assist passengers during emergencies, administer basic first aid including CPR and AED, secure the cabin before takeoff and landing, and reassure passengers during turbulence or other unsettling situations. Ensure that food, beverages, blankets, reading materials, emergency equipment, and other supplies are sufficient for each trip
- shop for specially requested passenger items
- inspect, clean, and stock the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck after each leg
- conduct periodic cabin checks
- complete preflight, inflight, and post-flight paperwork
- and operate the aircraft's audio and video systems.
Requirements
- The candidate must have 5+ years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant, knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations, First Aid Training Certification, culinary skills and culinary-specific training, technological proficiency, flexibility, patience, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and strong attention to detail. The candidate must be able to manage a constantly changing schedule and late-night flights, respond within 2-3 hours when on standby, travel worldwide without restriction, deploy for up to 16 consecutive days, operate cabin management systems, galley equipment, and cabin features, and work with the aircraft's seating and divan-bed configurations. Physical requirements include correctable vision of 20/20 or better, clear speech, adequate hearing, standing for up to 14 hours with limited sitting, maneuvering in tight aircraft spaces, kneeling in the luggage compartment, opening and closing a main cabin door weighing up to 130 pounds, and repeatedly lifting supplies weighing approximately 25 to 30 pounds. Formal flight-attendant training is preferred
