About This Role
Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time corporate Flight Attendant for a Gulfstream G650/G700 operation based at KVNY in Van Nuys, California. The role combines premium passenger service, culinary preparation, cabin safety, emergency response, aircraft presentation, and detailed preflight, inflight, and post-flight administration. The successful candidate must be able to work extended and changing schedules, deploy for up to 16 consecutive days, and travel worldwide on short notice.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide a high level of service while ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout each flight. Greet passengers, conduct preflight briefings, explain safety equipment, direct and assist passengers during emergencies, administer basic first aid including CPR and AED assistance, secure the cabin in compliance with federal regulations before takeoff and landing, and reassure passengers during turbulence or other unsettling situations. Ensure that food, beverages, blankets, reading materials, emergency equipment, and other supplies are onboard in sufficient quantities

- and operate the galley and cabin management systems. Inspect, clean, and stock the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck after each leg, keep the aircraft prepared for flight, conduct periodic cabin checks, operate audio and video systems, and complete all preflight, inflight, and post-flight paperwork.
Requirements
- Candidates must have at least 5 years of Corporate Flight Attendant experience, culinary skills and culinary-specific training, knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations, and First Aid Training Certification. Flight attendant-specific training from FlightSafety, FACTs, or a similar provider is preferred, with preference for candidates who completed it within the past 12 months
- candidates without formal training may be considered but must complete initial flight attendant training before flight assignment, and annual recurrent training is required. The role requires technological proficiency, flexibility, patience, excellent interpersonal and customer-service skills, close attention to detail, the ability to manage constantly changing schedules and late-night flights, availability to respond within 2–3 hours when on standby, unrestricted ability to travel worldwide, and the ability to deploy for up to 16 consecutive days. Candidates must be able to operate cabin management systems, galley equipment, and cabin features including berthing seats and divan-bed configurations. Additional qualifications include correctable vision of 20/20 or better, clear speech, adequate hearing, the ability to stand for up to 14 hours with limited sitting, work long hours in various climates, maneuver in tight aircraft spaces, push or pull a main cabin door weighing up to 130 pounds, and repeatedly lift approximately 25 to 30 pounds from floor level to waist height.
