About This Role
Solairus Aviation is recruiting a Full-Time Flight Attendant for their Gulfstream G650ER operation based in San Jose, CA. This is a business aviation position requiring 5+ years of corporate flight attendant experience with culinary expertise and advanced culinary training strongly preferred. Candidates must be flexible, detail-oriented, and capable of managing constantly changing schedules with 2-3 hour response times for standby flights. The role offers competitive compensation ranging from $50,000 to $500,000 annually depending on experience, aircraft type, and account assignment, with opportunities to work on luxury aircraft serving high-net-worth clients worldwide.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant
  • Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations
  • First Aid Training Certification (CPR, AED)
  • Flight attendant-specific training from FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar preferred
  • Culinary skills and culinary-specific training required
  • Vision correctable to 20/20 or better with glasses or contact lenses
  • Uncorrected vision no worse than 20/20
  • Able to speak clearly and communicate effectively
  • Adequate hearing to communicate over phone and in person
  • Physically capable to stand for up to 14 hours with limited sitting
  • Able to kneel and maneuver in tight spaces within aircraft
  • Able to push open/pull closed main cabin door weighing up to 130 pounds
  • Able to lift supplies weighing 25-30 pounds repeatedly
  • Technologically savvy
  • Flexibility and patience required
  • Able to manage constantly changing schedule and late night flights
  • Available to fly on short notice (2-3 hour response if on Standby)
  • Unrestricted ability to travel worldwide
  • Able to deploy for up to 16 consecutive days
  • Operation of Cabin Management Systems required
  • Operation of all galley equipment required
  • Operation of all cabin features including berthing seats
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • College degree preferred
  • Ability to speak one or more foreign languages fluently preferred
  • Experience with small children preferred
  • Annual recurrent training required
