About This Role
Solairus Aviation seeks a full-time Gulfstream G500 Captain for an operation at KOPF in Opa-locka, Florida. The captain will serve clients while upholding the company’s standards for safety, service and integrity.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely operate the Gulfstream G500 and conduct each flight prudently under Solairus Aviation procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Before departure, review the aircraft’s maintenance status, perform the preflight inspection prescribed by the approved Aircraft Flight Manual, and check weather and facilities along the route and at planned and alternate airports.
- Protect the safety of passengers, crew and aircraft, and complete all trip paperwork accurately under current procedures.
Requirements
- Applicants need 3,000 hours total flight time, 1,500 hours PIC, 1,500 hours multi-engine, 500 hours multi-engine PIC, 500 hours turbojet and 250 instrument hours.
- They must be type rated on the Gulfstream G500 or a comparable aircraft and hold a first-class medical certificate.
- The role requires availability for on-call work, the ability to complete ICAO international procedures training annually, and a primary residence within a two-hour drive of KOPF or willingness to relocate.
