About This Role
Skyborne Airline Academy is seeking Ground School Instructors in Vero Beach to provide theoretical knowledge training for U.S. and international students. The role delivers FAA ground school instruction and, following comprehensive standardization, supports UK CAA and EASA theoretical knowledge courses within FAA Part 141, UK CAA, and EASA-approved training programs. Instructors report to the U.S. Chief Ground Instructor and the UK/EASA Chief Theoretical Knowledge Instructor, while helping develop future commercial airline pilots through professional, safety-focused and high-quality training.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The instructor will deliver FAA ground school instruction after completing Skyborne's instructor standardization program
- support the development and continuous improvement of course presentations, lesson plans, training materials and study resources
- monitor and evaluate student academic progress and provide guidance and support
- prepare, maintain and accurately document student training records
- maintain current knowledge of applicable learning objectives, regulatory requirements and training standards
- assist with administrative and operational duties supporting the U.S. Chief Ground Instructor and UK/EASA Chief Theoretical Knowledge Instructor
- ensure compliance with Skyborne training policies, procedures and quality standards
- promote company policies, procedures and best practices throughout the academy
- review and maintain training documentation, manuals and courseware for accuracy, effectiveness and regulatory compliance
- and deliver training aligned with Skyborne's commitments to safety, quality, customer service and training excellence.

Requirements
- Candidates should have experience delivering FAA Ground School instruction, preferably in an FAA Part 141 environment
- experience under other aviation regulatory authorities will also be considered. An FAA Advanced Ground Instructor (AGI) certificate is required. The position also requires excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
