About This Role
This permanent, professional-level Ground Instructor position with Airbus Asia Training Centre in Singapore is responsible for delivering pilot ground training for airline crews converting to Airbus aircraft. The instructor ensures pilots achieve the required knowledge standard and pass final systems and performance examinations, provides technical and operational instruction for the relevant aircraft type, develops and reviews examination questions, monitors crew progress against the course timetable, and maintains the required instructor competencies.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver pilot ground training and provide lectures to airline crews converting to Airbus aircraft.
- Instruct crews on all operational and technical aspects of the particular aircraft type using FBS, FTD, APT+, and mock-ups.
- Ensure pilots reach the standard level of knowledge and pass the final systems and performance examinations.
- Develop and review examination questions, evaluate each crew’s progress in aircraft-systems knowledge against the predetermined course schedule, and maintain the required Instructor Competencies performance.
- The role also requires awareness of potential compliance risks and a commitment to integrity.
