About This Role
JSX seeks a Ground Instructor to develop, deliver, document, and continuously improve training for pilots and flight attendants. The role delivers classroom and online instruction for Initial, Upgrade, Transition, and Recurrent programs; maintains training manuals and materials; supports regulatory compliance; and collaborates with training and operational teams to improve the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of the organization’s training programs.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging classroom and online instruction for JSX Pilots and Flight Attendants across Initial, Upgrade, Transition, and Recurrent training programs. Help Crewmembers complete required training and meet established standards, and accurately record and certify completed training in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements. Advise and assist the Manager of Training on JSX Pilot and Flight Attendant training programs
- maintain the Pilot Training Manual and support revisions as training or regulatory requirements change
- and develop or improve curricula, presentations, graphics, and interactive learning materials. Evaluate training methods and recommend effective, cost-efficient delivery approaches, continuously identify improvements to program quality and efficiency, support other JSX training-team members responsible for Crewmember training outside the Pilot and Flight Attendant programs, and contribute to additional training initiatives, projects, and operational needs as assigned.

Requirements
- Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, aviation knowledge and familiarity with aviation or aircraft terminology and processes, strong presentation and facilitation skills, excellent written and verbal communication, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and proficiency with Adobe software for developing graphics and interactive training content.
- Candidates must hold a current and valid driver’s license, be able to travel up to 25%, and be available to work weekends and holidays as required.
- Preferred qualifications include pilot or dispatcher certification, knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations including 14 CFR Parts 61, 91, 119, and 135, at least one year of training experience in a Part 121 or Part 135 operation, and previous teaching, instruction, or facilitation experience.
