About This Role
Corporate (Part 91) Global Express Captain role for Strategy (MicroStrategy, Nasdaq: MSTR), an ISBAO Stage II flight department providing VVIP travel for company executives. Based at Dulles Airport (IAD). Operates the company aircraft as PIC/SIC ensuring safe, efficient, FAA/TSA-compliant flight operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the company aircraft while serving as PIC or SIC.
- Ensure full compliance with all applicable FAA and TSA regulations and company flight standards.
- Conduct preflight planning (performance, weight and balance, fuel, weather, route).
- Complete facility/FBO assessments.
- Make start/delay/cancel and route-deviation decisions.
- Complete the Strategy Flight Risk Assessment Tool and pre/in/post-flight checklists.
- Operate per the Strategy Flight Operations Manual and published aircraft limitations.
- Use Crew Resource Management techniques.
- Record flight times and aircraft defects and update maintenance personnel.
Requirements
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with Multi-Engine Rating and Global Express type rating. First-Class FAA Medical Certificate. FCC Radiotelephone License. Valid passport and driver's license
- ability to travel domestically and internationally. Must have international flying experience. ICAO Annex 1 English proficiency. High School Diploma or GED. No FAA violations, accidents or incidents. Minimum qualifications: Total Flight Time 5,000 Hours
- Turbojet Time 2,000 Hours
- Aircraft Multi-Engine Land 3,000 Hours
- Time in Type 500 Hours.
